Coro Nuovo is a Sussex based choir consisting of over forty advanced singers from top local choirs, some of whom are professional musicians. Coro Nuovo actively supports young musicians – both choral and instrumental – who are at the beginning of their professional careers.

The final of Coro Nuovo’s inaugural Young Musician of the Year Competition was held on Sunday 17th July.  Four young musicians – all with a Sussex connection – competed for a £500 bursary to help with their musical studies.  Hannah Corcoran was the competition winner, delighting the audience with her Fantaisie brillante sur Carmen by Francois Bourne for saxophone.

I really do appreciate the support hugely. I would love to be involved with the choir as much as and in any way possible, please just let me know what I can do!”
