St Peter & St James Hospice is delighted to be supported by Players in the Park as they present a ‘Bard in the Barn’ production of Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ in aid of the Hospice.

From Wednesday 8 – Friday 17 June, ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ will be performed, in Lindfield, where all are invited to picnic before the performance and enjoy the picturesque surroundings.

Cathryn Parker, from Players in the Park, said, “We’re delighted to be putting on this play in support of St Peter & St James Hospice. Over the last three productions we have raised over £20,000 – a fantastic sum, thanks to the support of our players and production team, the hospice local support groups and fundraising team, our generous sponsors and of course our lovely audiences who come to see the play!”

“Players in the Park are grateful to Jeremy & Jacky Burdett and family at Cockhaise Farm, Lindfield, for once again permitting us to use their grain store as a pop-up theatre for two weeks.”

Giles Witcomb, Head of Fundraising at St Peter & St James Hospice, said, “All at the hospice are looking forward to the performances in June. In previous years, the productions have been extremely well-attended by our supporters and I hope that as many people as possible get to enjoy the talent, picturesque surroundings and delicious refreshments on offer. Such hard work goes into all the rehearsals and we’re extremely grateful to everyone involved for all their hard work and commitment.”
