Haywards Heath based choir Coro Nuovo will be performing it’s ‘A Night at the Movies’ concert at 7.30pm on Saturday 27th June.   The choir is led by the international opera singer Andrew Rees, and their accompanist is Gareth Hancock from the Royal Opera House and Glyndebourne.

The choir is now in its 4th very successful year covering most genres of music – opera, folk, sacred, and now musical theatre.  The Ascension Church in Vale Road, Haywards Heath is the concert venue on this occasion, and the choir will be singing well known film music including excerpts from Amadeus to Sister Act.  As usual the choir love to give a young musician the chance to perform, and for this concert Corey Wickens from the Royal Northern College – a previous pupil of Hurstpierpoint College – will be playing the violin.

Tickets are still available £15.00 and £12.50 for concessions.  Please ring Kate on 07740 946276 or tickets can be bought or ordered from the website www.coronuovo.org.uk.  Early booking is recommended as 70% of the tickets have already been sold!
