Green team joins Open4Business event
Mid Sussex businesses will have the chance to find new ways of saving money and the environment at Open4Business 2013 after green energy experts the Sussex Energy Saving Partnership (SESP) confirmed their attendance at the event.
The SESP join local business associations, advisors on workplace health, marketing, signage, work wear, training, IT, building, publishing and apprenticeships who will all be providing advice at this year’s Open4Business.
The main aim of the SESP is to save energy for local residents and businesses through initiatives like the Green Deal and ECO (the Energy Company Obligation). Additionally, companies can find out about grants worth up to £1,000 from West Sussex County Council through the SESP to help gain Green Deal Installer Certification.
This year’s event takes place from 3 – 7pm on Wednesday 18 September at Clair Hall, Haywards Heath. The new time and handy location will help more people to drop in and take advantage of the advice and information on offer. The event is free but prior registration is required, so to book a place, simply fill in the online registration form at www.midsussex.gov.uk/open4business
“Our theme for this event is procurement, a key area where we have some exciting speakers lined up, but we also have a huge range of important information available. This is a really good opportunity for Mid Sussex businesses to keep in touch with both local and national information. I’m looking forward to a Clair Hall full of information, people and enthusiasm,” said Councillor Norman Webster, Cabinet Member for Economic Development at Mid Sussex District Council.
Open4Business 2013 is organised by Mid Sussex District Council with support from the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Central Sussex College and local business associations.
