HHDBA Internships: Hosts wanted!

Following the success of HHDBA’s first Internships, two new interns will join us on 18th February. Welcome to Adam Hayhoe-Smith and Mike Cogle who mastered a very rigorous round of interviews.

As you know this scheme gives young people the opportunity to benefit from real work experience in real businesses as well as getting hands on experience helping to develop and grow the HH&DBA. We give them as much training as we can and enable our interns to quote host companies on their CV. They also attend our networking sessions to meet prospective employers as well as our ‘How to’ sessions to give them insights into business issues.

What we need now is some more members to come forward as hosts.  Here is the brief for the internships which sets out what we would like our hosts to do; the cvs of our two newcomers are also linked (see above).  Hosting an intern is a great way to boost your business, helps the youngsters and helps HHDBA.  If you are interested, please contact Hollie Dunster on Hdunster@csgconsult.com

Lastly, we could not finish without saying a huge thank you to South East Business Systems, Weald IT, Cullen Scholefield and Mike Oliver Associates for hosting our first two interns. And it works Rob Nankervis has just started an apprenticeship with Mike Oliver Associates and Rob Gordon will be working with Cullen Scholefield on their web site redevelopment. We wish them every success in the future!
